Led by Steve Morgan CBE, Bridgemere has a long track record of success in both commercial and residential development, corporate acquisition and investment activity in the UK and overseas.

Steve Morgan CBE

Chairman

Steve Morgan is Chairman of the Bridgemere Group of Companies and of Redrow plc. Born in Liverpool, he started his career in the construction industry and founded the construction company Redrow at the age of 21 with the help of a £5,000 loan from his father.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building. In 1992 Steve Morgan was awarded an OBE for his services to the construction industry. This was followed in 2016 by his CBE for his philanthropic services through the Steve Morgan Foundation.

Over the years, Steve’s charity work has included Wolves Aid and Wolves in the Community, work in Rwanda and Uganda to improve the provision of running water and sanitation, as well as the support of thousands of charities in the North West and North Wales through his foundation charity, the Steve Morgan Foundation.

Finance Director

Ashley Lewis qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Binder Hamlyn (now part of Deloitte). After a two-year secondment in practice in South Africa, he returned to the UK to gain commercial experience across a wide variety of business sectors.

He was Group Finance Director of Homeform Group and was extensively involved in the flotation of this business in 1996 and the subsequent management buyout in 2000.

Ashley was also a Non-Executive Director on the board of Manchester City Football Club from 1994 until 2005 and is currently Treasurer and a Trustee of the Steve Morgan Foundation.

Legal Director

Peter joined Bridgemere in 2015 as Legal Director and is responsible for all legal aspects of the business, specialising in development acquisitions and disposals. Peter’s experience spans both private practice and in-house for national housebuilders.

Jonathan Masters

Jonathan Masters

Commercial Director

Jonathan is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the construction and property industries. He is familiar with standard published forms of construction and engineering contracts and maintains an array of bespoke agreements for less conventional situations and professional appointments.

Jonathan’s capabilities include the production of complex development appraisals and financial models. He has extensive experience in hotel and leisure developments as well as residential, commercial and civil engineering schemes including both project management and financial delivery.

Jonathan is a former Regional Director of Faithful+Gould (WS Atkins plc) and Associate Director of Silk and Frazier. He is a Trustee of the Steve Morgan Foundation.

Vincent Fairclough

Vincent founded the Property Law Practice in 1990, which merged with Hill Dickinson in 1997. He has extensive experience in both private practice and industry, and was previously in-house Legal Director with Wainhomes plc and Redrow plc.

Vincent retired in December 2015 but continues to be actively involved with Bridgemere in his role as Non-Executive Director.
